Cheesy Onion Dip

This is one of those recipes that come out of nowhere. I wanted to make a quick appetizer and this is what comes to mind. I really don't measure anything when I put this together. But I tried to come up with a "recipe". So use your own judgment. Use more or less of any of the ingredients. Just don't leave out the salt!

Cheesy Onion Dip
Serves  6-8

4 cups onions, finely chopped (about 2 medium size)
3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
½ cup to a1 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon sea salt Trapani, Flor Blanca or Aguni
½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.  Blend all ingredients in a medium size bowl.  Put in a baking dish.  You want your dip to be about ½ thick.  Bake until hot and bubbly, about 20 minutes.

Serve with Tortilla chips or whole grain crackers.
